EP 1: How to Heal Your Emotional Trauma Fast with the Emotion Code

What Are Stuck Emotions?

Stuck emotions refer to feelings that remain unexpressed and unresolved within you, leading to emotional baggage. Think of this emotional baggage as a heavy suitcase packed with all sorts of unprocessed emotions from past traumas, challenging events, and even inherited energy patterns. These deeply embedded emotions within your cellular memory play a pivotal role in forming your thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors, significantly influencing your current emotional reactions and life experiences.

How Stuck Emotions Impact the Mind and Body

If an emotion isn't fully processed due to suppression or overwhelm, it can become stored in the body’s tissues or organs, leading to mental, emotional, and physical symptoms. These trapped emotions create trigger points that activate when you face similar situations or emotions in the present. This reactivation can lead to disproportionate emotional reactions to current events, triggering unresolved past emotions and causing emotional dysregulation.

Over time, these stored emotions can contribute to chronic issues such as anxiety, depression, and headaches. They are also linked to self-sabotaging patterns like perfectionism, self-doubt, imposter syndrome, overthinking, procrastination, and addictive behaviors. Trapped emotions can lead to cloudy thinking, negative thought spirals, and impact your perception of reality, contributing to mental health issues. The stress caused by trapped emotions can elevate stress hormones like cortisol, leading to a weakened immune response and chronic pain.

Why Do Emotions Become Trapped in the Body?

When we feel an emotion intensely, ignore it, or get interrupted while dealing with it, that emotion can get stuck inside us. Unable to process the emotions, they become lodged in our cells and start to stack up, attracting similar energies and forming blocks that negatively affect our well-being. Carrying a trapped emotion is like having an internal tuning fork that persistently vibrates at the frequency of a specific negative emotion, drawing more of the same emotion into your life.

Identifying and Releasing Stuck Emotions with the Emotion Code

If you suspect that stuck emotions are at the root of your issues, there is a ground-breaking energy healing method known as the Emotion Code, developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson. This technique involves tapping into your subconscious mind through a method known as muscle testing to find and release the specific energy or frequency of each trapped emotion.

Muscle Testing Explained

Muscle testing is a gentle and non-invasive technique used to connect with the subconscious mind to identify imbalances in the body, including stuck emotions, negative thoughts, and limiting beliefs. There are various muscle testing methods you can learn, such as the ring-in-ring method, falling log method, and sway test. Practicing these methods consistently will help you get the hang of this skill.

Emotion Code in Practice

As an Emotion Code practitioner, I use muscle testing by proxy to work remotely with my clients. Muscle testing by proxy involves energetically connecting with the client and using myself as a proxy to get answers from their subconscious mind. This approach is useful for working with people remotely, with kids, or with someone who is not conscious.

The Process

Once you or your practitioner has established a connection with your subconscious mind through muscle testing, you can use the Emotion Code chart, which lists 60 emotions, to identify specific trapped emotions around a particular issue. Examples of issues to work on include emotional triggers, chronic pain, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and more. Once a trapped emotion is identified, it is energetically released using intention and a magnet or your hand along the Governing Meridian, which runs from the top of the head down the back.
